Front cover is missing and first ten pages are detached. The photographs are very good, though the actors look demented, and also include additional tableaux. This King John was the first filmed Shakespeare, largely a publicity stunt, and the short silent film was followed by a Souvenir Programme. There is also spotting to edge of pages, fascinating piece of theatre/film history still. Due to condition, this is sold as seen.
