Bound in green leather and maroon cloth, the spine has five raised bands with gilt decoration and gilt titles on red foreground. The red label has detached on Vol. II and titles now appear in blind, Vol. No. is in gilt lower down spine. Vol. I title has cracking to label with loss to edges. Rubbing to extremities but still a handsome set of volumes. Marbled page edge and end pages. 2 tissue guarded frontispiece, 2 vignettes and 14 further plates in Vol. I (2 on one page), 12 further plates in Vol. II. 712 and 468 pages.
